The Hasdrubal Collection
The paintings collection of Hasdrubal Foundation is the result of a genuine passion and a constant interest of Mr. Mohamed Amouri, its President.
Developed as from 1970, this collection, which brings together Works representing the history of Tunisian painting since the beginning of the XXth century, is constantly being enriched by the acquisition of paintings of different currents and from different countries, mainly Iraq, Algeria, and Morocco. This opening on plural approaches offers a rich panorama of contemporary paintings through the renewal of forms, diversity of materials and the relations with the environment It allows thanks to the variety of expressions and the relevant choice of works artfully exposed in the areas of the Hasdrubal Yasmine Hammamet, a critical look to an artistic practice that proves the creative conduct of our present.
