Our Mission
The Hasdrubal Foundation for the Arts and Culture - Mohamed Amouri is dedicated to promoting access to the arts and culture. The Foundation strives to strengthen connections among art, heritage, and civilization enthusiasts, particularly in the fields of painting and music. Its primary mission is the preservation of the Hasdrubal Private Collection of paintings and the development of artistic training programs, with a special focus on music education for students.

Our Story
The painting collection of the Hasdrubal Thalassa & Spa hotels, driven by the passionate and ongoing commitment of Mr. Mohamed Amouri, its president, and Mr. Raouf Amouri, its general director, has created a unique cultural dynamic within the tourism sector.
Since its development in 1970, the collection has brought together works that trace the history of Tunisian painting from the early 20th century. It has continuously evolved, incorporating contemporary art that embraces new forms, diverse materials, and a deeper connection to the environment. This collection offers a critical perspective on current artistic practices, showcasing a variety of expressions through a thoughtfully curated selection of works, expertly displayed throughout the hotel spaces.
One of the standout aspects of this rich cultural endeavor is the creation of collections that reflect the full trajectory of remarkable artists, including the late Ridha Bettaieb and Aly Ben Salem, to whom the "Spring of Hasdrubal" exhibition pays special tribute.
More than just a collection, it is a living heritage.
The promoters' cultural vision extends beyond the exhibition of paintings, which beautifully illuminate the spaces within a tourism setting. It also involves organizing events centered around the act of creation itself. This initiative of engaging with cultural figures is a forward-thinking step, fostering a sustainable connection between the tourism space and its surrounding environment.
